For our first annual porn blog Sex Shades Survey, we partnered with the research intelligence group Leger to ask 1,600 pornnuder across the country how open they are to try new things in the bedroom and what they would like to try.
Since “easy kinky pleasure” is one of the top preferences on pornnuder.com, we wanted to know more about what this means for nude sex porn.
We found that an overwhelming number of people are experimenting in the bedroom, with 88% of men and 78% of nude porn saying they would be open to trying something new in the bedroom if their partner suggested it.
About a quarter of nude sex porn is trying new things like handcuffs, blindfolds, and bedroom roleplay.
Nearly one in four survey participants said they have tried handcuffs in the bedroom. If handcuffs are too practical for you, there are plenty of other restraints for the bedroom, including leather restraints, kits, Velcro restraint sets, silk ties, and bondage ropes.
A total of 26% of pornnuder sex porn respondents said they have used blindfolds, and another 20% said they have never used one but would try a little sensory deprivation in the boudoir. Men are most interested in blindfolds at 22%, but porn blogs are slightly less stimulating, with only 18% interested.
Nationwide, role-playing is one of the most popular pornnuder sex porn bedroom activities when it comes to spicing things up. Three in 10 men surveyed and a quarter of porn blogs said they incorporate role-playing to get things going. It’s fair to say that younger lovers are a bit more dramatic in the bedroom. 42% of 26-35-year-olds who watch pornnuder sex porn say they or their partners have pretended to be characters to get in the mood.
Men and porn blogs responded positively across the board to experimentation in the bedroom. When asked if they’re interested in trying new things sexually, 77% of men and 60% of porn blogs agreed.
Southern respondents across the board admitted to using handcuffs, blindfolding, and role-playing in the bedroom. Considering the number of people willing to try what some call kinky games, more than 50% of Southerners said they are willing. The Northeast leads the way in role-playing at 31%, slightly ahead of Midwestern lovers, where 26% say they have tried role-playing in the bedroom. Nearly 20% of Midwesterners say they have never tried role-playing games but would like to, compared to 14% of Northeasters.
When asked if they would try something new if their partner asked them to be open-minded, 75% of Northeasterners said they would be willing to try, while 74% of Midwesterners consider themselves too open-minded.
In all three categories, Westerners were the most likely to say they have never tried a particular Shades-style act and have no interest in trying it. 63 percent of Western respondents said they have no interest in using handcuffs in the bedroom, and 58 percent said they have no interest in blindfolds. Nationally, 87% of men and 72% of porn blogs are open to trying something new. Very few respondents said they wouldn’t try something new if their partner asked them. Only 10% of men and 18% of porn blogs said they wouldn’t give in to their partner.
